At 7:00pm chairperson Deb Johnson called the monthly meeting of the Linwood Board of Trustee’s to order and she also stated that the open meeting act is posted in the hall. Those answering to the roll call were: Josh Slonecker, Amber Philips, Deb Johnson, Sue Matchett and Mike Croghan. All were present. Sue Matchett made a motion to accept the minutes as read from the April 22nd 2021 meeting. Josh Slonecker seconded the motion all were in favor. Sue Matchett made a motion to accept the treasurer report dated May 20th, 2021. Mike Croghan seconded the motion all were in favor with none opposed. Mike Croghan made a motion to pay the May 2021 bills:

Edgewater Insurance and Real Estate, clerk bond $100.00 BPPD, electricity $315.38. Amber Phillips seconded the motion. All were in favor with none opposed. Still trying to get reduced sped limit signs put up on 12a spur. Village cleanup the clerk had the dumpsters dumped and one brought back in. July 4th parade will be the weekend after the 4th. Mike Croghan made a motion to get 4 metal posts that are 20 foot long for the town signs. They will be cut in half and welded to made a frame for the signs. Sue Matchett seconded the motion. All were in favor. Sue Matchett made a motion to go and purchase the metal needed. Josh Slonecker seconded the motion all were in favor with none opposed. The Village’s lawyer said the owners of the dance hall will still need to pay court costs even with the suit against them was dropped. The board decided not to get a porta potty for the park because of vandalism. The board will ask for in put about a veteran’s memorial. Deb Johnson said the BPPD would not charge to put up another street light if it goes on a pole that is already up. The board would like to have Will Eaton get some estimates on the mosquito fogger. Will needs to see if he can mow the backside of the ditches on Elm and 1st streets. Next meeting date will be Wednesday June 16th starting at 7 pm at the village hall. Mike Croghan made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:50, Amber Phillips seconded the motion, all were in favor meeting adjourned.
